According to the domestic Protection of Disabled People, the Article 29th states clearly " rehabilitation represents vocational training、vocational evaluation、employment service、vocational tracking and assistance on being rehired. " The aim at vocational evaluation is to assess the disabilities' the potentials to be trained or employed, which can develop the career plan and build the essential basis for developing rehabilitation service plan. Until now, Vocational Evaluation Resources Center For Individuals with Disabilities in Taiwan has been establishing since 1999. It has received plenty of positive feedbacks and the authorities offer Vocational Evaluation Service a high recognition as well. It relatively provides Vocational Evaluation Resources Center with more functions and responsibilities.

      In order to promote the professional skills of vocational evaluators、organization and strength the research on vocational evaluation, the guidance for Vocational Evaluation Resources Center For Individuals with Disabilities, the Policy 12th also issues the Authorities concerned should set up or fund the project of Vocational Evaluation Resources Centers; therefore, Bureau of Employment and Vocational Training organized district Vocational Evaluation Resources Center For Individuals with Disabilities service network in Northern, middle, and southern Taiwan. In 2004, Bureau of Vocational Training at first delegated Notional Kaohsiung Normal University to establish Vocational Evaluation Resources Center For Individuals with Disabilities service network in southern district. Similarly, in 2006, it respectively delegated Notional Taiwan University and National Changhua University of Education carried out Vocational Evaluation Resources Center For Individuals with Disabilities service network in Northern and middle districts. They advance the cooperative system between the disabled people's employment service and career transition through assisting municipal and county(city) government to enforce vocational evaluation assessment、providing vocational evaluation centers with professional consultation、aiding vocational evaluation with challenging cases、call professional advanced training courses.
